Primary | 3 to 6 years

Pristine Montessori primary classrooms are guided by Montessori certified lead guides. Each Primary Guide is assisted by dedicated Assistant teachers. Our classrooms are designed with carefully chosen Montessori materials that are tactile and designed to teach specific concepts. These materials often involve hands-on learning and are intended to be self-correcting.

Everything in the classroom is organized and accessible, enabling children to learn how to handle and care for materials responsibly. We offer:

Child-Centered Learning

Individualized Learning: Children learn at their own pace and follow their interests. This approach allows for personalized education, which caters to each child's unique developmental needs and learning style.

Choice: Children have the freedom to choose their activities from a variety of materials and areas of study, promoting independence and self-motivation.

Curriculum Areas

Practical Life: Activities that help children develop everyday skills, such as pouring, spooning, and cleaning. These activities also help build fine motor skills, concentration, and independence.

Sensorial: Materials designed to refine the senses and help children classify and understand sensory information. Examples include materials for exploring texture, color, shape, and sound.

Mathematics: Concrete materials are used to introduce mathematical concepts, from basic counting to more complex operations. Montessori materials are designed to build a strong understanding of abstract concepts through physical manipulation.

Language: Emphasis is placed on developing language skills through phonics, vocabulary building, storytelling, and writing. Materials often include sandpaper letters and movable alphabets.

Cultural Studies: Includes geography, history, and science. Children learn about different cultures, the environment, and the natural world through hands-on activities and exploration.

Social and Emotional Development

Mixed-Age Classrooms: Children of different ages learn together in the same classroom, fostering peer teaching, collaboration, and social interaction.

Respect and Independence: Emphasis is placed on respect for others and oneself, helping children develop a strong sense of responsibility and self-esteem.

Pristine Montessori primary program aims to create a nurturing environment where children can grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally while developing a love for learning.
