Montessori education is rooted in principles that honor your child’s innate desire to learn, explore, share, and collaborate. Named after its founder, Dr. Maria Montessori, one of the first women in Italy to earn a doctorate in medicine, this educational approach was born from her scientific observations as a physician. Dr. Montessori developed a practical system of education based on children’s natural tendencies and abilities to learn through their own activities.

At Pristine Montessori, we educate children according to the Montessori Method of education developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. Montessori education is a child-centered approach based on scientific observations of children from birth to adulthood. Montessori methods are widely tested and acclaimed as a standard approach for educating children.

The Montessori approach nurtures the development of the "whole person" by fostering your child's curiosity, sense of responsibility, and capacity for cooperation. Through real-life classroom experiences, children learn teamwork and responsibility, while hands-on exploration of concrete concepts helps them develop abstract thinking.

We help children develop independence in all areas according to their inner emotional directives. Montessori education involves free activity within an educational environment designed to address the basic characteristics of children of different ages and the individual behaviors of each child. Our Montessori classrooms offer access to the materials for each child in an environment that embraces the child’s sensory stimulation.
